2017 Kentucky Soybean Contest Results
The results of the 2017 Kentucky Soybean Production Contest are now available, with Meredith Farms of Henderson earning the top spot a third year in a row. Their single crop yield, using irrigation and Pioneer P35T58R seed, was 107.76 bushels per acre.
"We had an excellent year with multiple 100+ full season entries and even some 80+ double-crop entries," said contest coordinator Carrie Knott.
Winners will be honored at the Kentucky Commodity Conference on January 18 in Bowling Green. Sponsors include the Kentucky Soybean Board, Pioneer, and FMC.
